Knoxville’s Mardi Growl Parade
February 9, 2010We’re so excited about Saturday! We’re going to have a booth at the City of Knoxville’s Mardi Growl Parade. All of the proceeds from parade registration will go to Young-Williams Animal Center, an organization we simply adore. Animals are so helpless, and it warms my heart to know that this organization tries to take care of them when no one else will. My animals are very special to me, provide a lot of companionship, and simply make me smile. If you want to help out, there are so many easy items to donate. Here are a few items that I thought would be so easy to find around your house:
- peanut butter
- stuffed animals
- bath towels
- grocery bags
- sheets/pillowcases
- cardboard boxes (you can make a litter box by cutting the bottom half)
- newspaper (without inserts and unrolled)
- paper towel tubes (please cut in half)
- classical music CDs
- and so much more!!!
Here is a complete list of the items needed: Wish List
Stop by our booth for homemade dog treats and a *SPECIAL* discount on a photo session that is only available to those who stop by our booth!
