I had a great time with these two yesterday running around. We took some of the photos at Tremont in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park because Dusty is an avid outdoorsmen and fly-fisherman instructor. It was a great excuse for me to be up there—it had been months. I’ve known Alyson since middle school and I just love her to death. We always laugh when we’re together and had fun reminiscing about our high school senior trip to the beach. I really like Dusty and I’m so happy for them! The big day will be here before you know it. Congrats you two!

We had so much fun with Stacia and Shane tonight.  They had lots of ideas about what they wanted.  It is so much fun when clients have some ideas and really get into it like they did.  There was never a dull moment.  Shane definitely kept things interesting and wanted us to stay all night so he could multi-task, drinking beer and getting engagement pictures knocked out at the same time.  Thanks for a fun session!  We can’t wait for your wedding in October!

What a great day for a wedding!  I must say we all had our doubts and were slightly worried about the weather.  We got some rain briefly early on and then a bit during the reception.  It really couldn’t have been much better!  We got a nice mix of sun and clouds.  The clouds kept things cooled off for the beautiful outdoor wedding.  Adam and Kimberley are such a great couple!  We were so glad to be a part of their wedding day.  They were both so easy-going and great to work with.  They put lots of personal touches into their wedding…homemade programs, landscaped center pieces, and they even did their own flowers!  It was such a pretty wedding and Twin Cedar Farms is a great place for an outdoor wedding!  Thanks for letting us be a part of your wedding!

A & P’s E

February 28, 2010

These two are getting hitched in Las Vegas next month, and I’m so happy for them.   We wanted some snow in their engagement photos, so we headed up to Gatlinburg.  The only place we could find snow was at Ober.  We rode the lifts up to the top and it was snowing so hard!  It was at least 10 degrees colder at the top.  I was able to grab a couple of shots in the snow before my camera got completely soaked.  Then we headed to Volunteer Landing the next day to finish up.  Good times!

Adam and Kim- E Session

I had fun with Kim and Adam taking engagement pictures.  It was a perfect day for it!  Beautiful weather, location, and a little bit of exercise.   We’re looking forward to the wedding in six months!

We did engagement photos yesterday for Jennifer and Phillip.  The weather was not great, but we managed to get a few dry moments.  We did the pictures in the Smoky Mountains at Cades Cove, where they got engaged.  We hope the wedding will be drier in May.   Thanks for braving the weather!

We took a few pictures inside, trying to get the leaves from outside to show, without getting wet.

They got a bit muddy and wet, but it was worth it!

The weather was not very good today for pictures at Cades Cove.  The forecast was actually the opposite of how it really was.  We were able to keep one of our sessions, though.   Jennifer and Phillip were great, and toughed it out.  We drove around the loop and managed to get some great shots despite the rain!

We had a fun night downtown and at the Tennessee Valley Fair with Harley and Gretchen!  We were so excited that they agreed to do some fair pictures.  It made for a long night, but I think it was worth it to get some fun shots.  They are getting married next May.  Can’t wait for the wedding!  It will be here before we know it.  Thanks guys for a fun session!

Harley & Gretchen’s E-Session

September 15, 2009

We had a good time last night hanging out downtown with Harley & Gretchen for their engagement pictures.  We started out in market square, headed to world’s fair park and finished up at the Tennessee Valley Fair.  We were playing around with some flash settings at the fair. It was a lot of fun! We finished the evening with some junk food at the fair. MMM!
