We finally found a pretty day, with no rain to do Haley’s senior pictures.  The rainy weather made us reschedule a few times.  Today was a bit cool, but at least it was a beautiful day.  I think the pictures turned out great!  Now is the perfect time to get those last minute Senior pictures and for Juniors to get a head start.

I got to do some engagement pictures on this beautiful weekend for Andy & Kie.  They are getting married May 29….it’s coming up! We had a good time at the World’s Fair Park area. There were SOO many people down there!  We worked around them though and I think we got some good shots.

What a fun night for a great cause!  We were thrilled to be a part of this event to raise money for Children’s Hospital.  The dancers were all amazing and put so much work into this night.

Getting married?  Engagement photos are a great way to capture some memories in a stress-free way before your “Big Day.”  Engagement pictures should be fun and a way to express who you and your fiance are.  We are looking for the couple with the most unique idea for engagement photos.  Is there a special place where you met?  A favorite past-time you enjoy together?  We want to hear your creative ideas for your engagement session!  Did you meet at a Farmer’s Market?  Do you both like to bike?  Maybe you like to dance and your fiance likes to race cars.  Why not incorporate both?  The more creative, the better!  Check out our website: www.yourexpressivemoments.com.

We will accept emails until May 31st.  We will then pick 5 couples to be entered in the contest.  We will open voting to the public on our blog.  Voting will last for one week.  The top couple will receive a free engagement session, including 10 prints of their choice and souvenir cards for their wedding.

*Entrants must agree to sign a model release to allow their photos to be used for voting purposes and later website/advertising use by Expressive Moments Photography.  Photos will be taken in or around the Knoxville area.

I did pictures of Drew about six months ago.  He has grown and changed so much.  I remember at the last session he fell over backwards and bunped his head.  Now he’s toddling around and trying to let go.  It’s so much fun to see how babies change.  He is now one-year old and as cute as ever.

We are so excited to have a new blog!  We will be able to show off our photos in a nice, large size now.  They look so much better than the small images on our old blog.  The only problem now, is that we have so many old blog posts that are not here.  I guess we’ll be re-adding them in time.  Right now we are just concentrating on getting this blog up and functional.  Please let us know what you think about the new blog or if you catch any problems for us.   Thanks for looking!  Please check back frequently.  We will be working on getting lots of new posts on here.
