We had a fun night downtown and at the Tennessee Valley Fair with Harley and Gretchen!  We were so excited that they agreed to do some fair pictures.  It made for a long night, but I think it was worth it to get some fun shots.  They are getting married next May.  Can’t wait for the wedding!  It will be here before we know it.  Thanks guys for a fun session!

We had a good time last night hanging out downtown with Harley & Gretchen for their engagement pictures.  We started out in market square, headed to world’s fair park and finished up at the Tennessee Valley Fair.  We were playing around with some flash settings at the fair. It was a lot of fun! We finished the evening with some junk food at the fair. MMM!

I’m so glad I got to be a part of John and Dena’s wedding. Dena called us to book her wedding back in March, probably, after her friend Kelly booked a June wedding with us. Both Kelly and Dena seemed so sweet and we were excited to be doing their weddings. A couple weeks later, I nervously called Dena to tell her I had found out I was pregnant and was due a couple weeks after her wedding. I couldn’t guarantee that I would make it to her wedding. We kept waiting and Dena kept checking to see how I was holding up…and I luckily made it to her wedding, without a baby. Dena was a bit worried after seeing a picture I took of my daughter where my big belly accidentally got in the shot. I’m happy to tell her that my belly didn’t make it into any of their wedding pictures. John and Dena had a great wedding! Poor Dena was a bit under the weather, but you wouldn’t know it looking at her beautiful pictures.

This was so funny.  “Let’s do a serious pose…no seriously…come on- be serious.”  Easier said than done.

We had a good time yesterday with John & Dena. They were both so laid back and calm about everything. Poor Dena was sick, too. She had a sinus infection and barely had a voice. She was such a trooper though, and didn’t let it ruin her day. She looked great!!

We took some time aside from Holly & Adam’s wedding to do a family session for Tyler, Billy and lil’ Billy one morning while we were at the beach last week. It was fun! Lil’ Billy was so good! He didn’t cry once! We’ll have to do some more pictures in about 9 months because Tyler just found out she is expecting again!

I met with Dustin, Amanda and Dalton at the Greenbelt in Maryville for a family session and to get some shots of Dalton. He is 9 months old and was so good. He didn’t cry one time! We finally figured out what made him laugh–making “coughing” sounds. What a cutie!

I have had a blast the past few days hanging out with the bride and groom-to-be and their friends at the beach.  We had a rehearsal cookout on the beach the night before the wedding, and then played HILARIOUS card games all night. Then, the wedding at Henderson Park Inn was perfect with beautiful weather and an equally gorgeous sunset.  Holly was cool as a cucumber all day!!  I hope they have a wonderful honeymoon the rest of the week!!

…and this was right about the time the strap on my dress broke….so I shot the rest of the wedding with camera crammed to my chest so I wouldn’t expose myself. My husband brought me a safety pin, though, and it was all good!

I love the emotion here. You can see the pure joy in all of their faces.

You can tell from the last post that Amy and I have been staying busy with our own lives.  I have also been a tad preoccupied preparing for our newest addition.  Less than two weeks to go!  I am so glad we found time to do maternity pictures.  They will be so great to have and to look back at one day.  I really have enjoyed being pregnant and may miss it when I’m not.  I can’t wait to meet my baby, though!

Amy managed to squeeze her wedding into a busy month of weddings.  It was such a great day, and I had the honor of being her matron-of-honor.  Needless to say, we were too busy to take many photos of the day.  I had my camera while we were getting ready and then sadly ditched it before the wedding.  I didn’t want to hide behind the camera all night.  We both took the afternoon off and turned over the photographs to Courtney DeLaura of Peachtree Studios.  She did a great job capturing the wedding and reception!  Here are a few shots I got before the wedding:
