It was great to meet Kelly and her sweet family.  Charlie and Ella were so cute and easy to work with…other than Charlie’s tongue.   I got lots of pictures of it!   I love Ella’s little teeth!  She did great, especially so close to bedtime.  Thanks Kelly and Andy for driving so far and for all the great photo suggestions!  It’s nice to hear other ideas.

We were happy to be invited to photograph the Circle of Hope for the East Tennessee Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation at The Pavilion at Hunter Valley Farms last night.  They held  silent and live auctions to raise money and had some wonderful hors d’oeuvres.  We shot the Jingle Bell Run for the Arthritis Foundation back in December.  It was fun but cooolllldddd (the photos from that event can be viewed here)

I covered a prom session for my friend Danielle Rose with Dani Rose Photography.  I had a great time with these kids, and it made me really want to go back to prom!!  They all looked fantastic.  Here’s a preview of their pics!

I did Jacy’s one-year photos today. We may be a few months late doing them, but better late than never. She is such a cute little girl and so happy!   She did great!!!  It’s so hard for me to believe that Carsyn will be that big in a few months.  They change so fast!  I had a great time chasing Jacy around and photographing that cute little smile!

It was so much fun doing Prom pictures for Emma and her date, Jake.  They looked so great and Emma’s dress was gorgeous!  They were off to Naples for dinner and The Foundry for Prom.  I hope you guys had a great night!

Tabitha won a contest we had back in January for a free mini photo session.  All she had to was watch the blog for the announcement!  She’ll get two free 8×10 and two free 5×7 prints with her session, too. I had a great time at the park with this family, and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect.   Happy 1st Birthday Payton!!!

It was great to do pictures for Kinley and her family again.  Such a sweet family!  Last time I met Kinley she was about 10 days old.  She has really grown and looks a lot like her brother, Owen, I think.  The weather was great, but maybe a tad chilly for her when she got stripped down for the tutu pictures.  She was ready for her nap, too but was a real trooper!  Can’t wait to see her again in 3 months!

Owen is the Birthday boy!  It’s his first Birthday…a time filled with yummy cake and fun balloons.  Too bad he wasn’t too thrilled with either.  I think he was just a little overwhelmed.  I mean, when has he ever had a whole cake sat in front of him?  Those balloons were also the biggest balloons I’ve ever seen!  Ethan was a great big brother and cooperated well.  They are such cuties with that red hair!

…and I thought my little girl, Carsyn, was smiley.  I think this little man will give her a run for her money.  Reece is such a cutie and I wish he could share a bit of his hair with Carsyn.  We were happy to do pictures for Lauren, Chris, and Reece.  They won a session from the silent auction at the Butterfly Fund Gala.  We were happy to donate the session.  The Butterfly Fund is such a great cause!

We were excited to photograph Dancing with the Knoxville Stars again this year.  The event was sponsored by STAR 102.1 for Children’s Hospital.  They raised $37,000 this year!!! What a fun time for a great cause!
