I had a good time with Madison’s senior pictures!  Seniors are so much fun.  I love seeing all the cute outfits and watching their personalities show up in the pictures. Madison was so cute and had some fun outfits!   It helped doing it in Madison’s own town too.  It just seems more personal and will be timeless in the photos.

We headed to West Town Mall today to help out Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee.   All proceeds will help provide one-to-one mentors for at-risk youth in the greater Knoxville area.  We were glad to be part of such a good cause.  Thanks to everyone that stopped by to see us and helped raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters.  Over $3300 was donated!

Another great wedding! The day was planned very well by Sam & Elizabeth. Elizabeth had a gorgeous dress, and then switched into another gorgeous Asian-styled dress at the reception. They both looked like they were made for her. We did all the photos before the ceremony again (so great!) and headed to Gettysvue for a f…un reception. These people really know how to party, let me tell you! They were ALL dancing and having a blast…not just the youngins! The night ended with great sparklers and a limousine ride. Congrats, guys!

What a fun time! We headed to Nashville and met these two at the War Memorial Plaza downtown. We love new locations! We went around downtown and took some photos of the two of them before the wedding, which is always nice! We loved how we had PLENTY of time for photos beforehand. That makes it so much easier! After …a short rain (it always happens!) we headed to the plaza for the ceremony. The sun setting over the Capitol building and the sounds of the steel drum band was perfect (and reminded me a tad of my own wedding!) The night closed with a reception with lots of dancing and music by Knoxville’s own, Tall Paul. Congrats, guys, and have fun in the Dominican Republic !!

I had so much fun taking senior pictures for Taylor. She has such a fun spirit and is beautiful! I remember her from when I was teaching her little brother. She was in 6th grade then. I can’t believe she’s graduating and that it was that long ago when I was teaching. We had a fun time walking around town and finding some cool spots.  It’s so fun to do pictures in a place that has meaning.  It really makes them special.  I was glad to see Lorrie, Ron, and Hunter too!  Thanks for running around in the rain with us!

We had so much fun with Stacia and Shane tonight.  They had lots of ideas about what they wanted.  It is so much fun when clients have some ideas and really get into it like they did.  There was never a dull moment.  Shane definitely kept things interesting and wanted us to stay all night so he could multi-task, drinking beer and getting engagement pictures knocked out at the same time.  Thanks for a fun session!  We can’t wait for your wedding in October!

Congratulations to Lindsay & Carson who are on their way to Myrtle Beach! I’m jealous. Anyway, they had a great wedding and the rain held off once again for their beautiful ceremony.  Lindsay was cool and calm all day! My sister-in-law and niece-in-law did the girls’ hair.   We took most of the photos beforehand (so much easier) and then made our way to the reception with fried chicken, vegetables and fruit, all prepared by Lindsay’s mother and grandmother! Some of you may remember the Subaru WRX I had a year or so ago…well Carson is the guy that bought it from me. This is such a nice couple and we enjoyed their wedding day. Good luck to you two!

I can’t believe the next time I do pictures for Xander it will be for his one-year photos.  He is nine months now and the time has flown.  What’s scarier is that it means my little girl Carsyn is getting close to.  It’s so hard to believe.  Xander had fun showing off his crawling and standing skills.  It’s so fun to see how babies change each time you see them.  Hunter did great too, other than a skinned knee.  He was brave and didn’t even whine about it.  I enjoyed trying out a new location, thanks to Tripp.  Thanks for being flexible too!

I did Evan’s six-month pictures out at their family farm again.  I love going out there.  It is a beautiful place!  Evan has gotten so cute…and quick.  I can’t believe how well he is getting around.  Crawling up a storm, pulling up, and looking for trouble!  Chloe loves her little brother and helped hold him in pictures.  She is so cute and had lots of fun ideas about the pictures.  It was great to see you all again!
